A1/A3 and A2 certificates are subject to periodic recurrent training (online refresher) within each five-year period to remain valid.
A1/A3 validity
After initial issue, complete the online recurrent training before the end of each five-year window. Your NAA records completion.
A2 validity
A2 builds on A1/A3 — recurrent obligations align with the five-year cycle. If A1/A3 lapses, A2 privileges may be affected.
STS and advanced qualifications
STS and operational authorisations may have additional review dates set by your NAA or operational declaration.
