1. Dokładny format egzaminu A2

The official A2 test presents 30 questions with 30 minutes allowed. The pass mark is 75%, so it is recommended to aim for at least 80% in practice.

The question style is often scenario-based, so it is important to understand the logic of applying the rules, not just to memorise wording.

2. Which topics appear most often

A2 questions especially favour meteorology, technical safety and operational risk. Candidates who ignore even one of these more often fail to clear the threshold.

Airspace understanding and situational assessment also matter. Such questions test not only theory but thinking discipline.

3. The most common candidate mistakes

One mistake is relying only on short quizzes without a full simulation. In that case you do not prepare for the real time pressure of the exam.

Another mistake is not analysing wrong answers. Without mistake review it is hard to escape recurring weak spots.

4. A practical A2STS study plan

Start with thematic modules and explanations, then move to controlled 30/30 sessions. This method lets you steadily combine knowledge and speed.

Each week, do a progress review and pick 2-3 of your weakest topics to revise. This way your growth stays visible and manageable.

5. When it's time to register

It is worth registering only once your results are stable, not after a single good attempt. In the real exam, nerves often lower your score.

With several consistent ≥80% results and time under control, your chance of passing on the first attempt becomes considerably higher.
