What it is

A2STS offline mode lets you study without an active internet connection — questions and material are synchronised to your device when connected and then accessible without one. Ideal for travel, outdoor situations or locations with unstable connectivity.

Answer statistics and progress data sync with the server when the connection resumes. This means progress made in offline sessions is not lost.

Who it's for

Offline mode suits pilots preparing for an exam while travelling — on a plane, train or in areas with weak internet. Also useful for those who want to study without screen distractions or want to limit mobile data usage.

During field operations or business trips, a study session can continue even without 4G or Wi-Fi. Preparation does not stop in mobile environments.

Comparison

Compared with downloading PDF files, A2STS offline mode retains all interactive features: timed mock exams, SRS feedback and error analysis. A PDF is static — offline A2STS is dynamic.

Other online course platforms often lack full offline support — you might view some videos but cannot take tests. A2STS offline covers both learning and self-testing functionality.

Start

Offline mode is activated in the A2STS app or browser before leaving a connected zone. Material is downloaded according to your plan — questions, explanations, category structure.

For the first sync, do it on a strong connection so all material downloads fully. After that, offline sessions run independently of connectivity.

Frequently asked questions

Is progress saved during offline sessions?
Yes — progress syncs with the server as soon as connectivity returns. Tests and errors recorded during offline sessions will appear in your statistics after synchronisation.
Does offline mode work on all platforms?
Offline support may vary by device and browser. Check the A2STS documentation for specific device and browser recommendations.
