ExpressLRS won't bind

Overview

ELRS TX and RX modules will not bind.

DJI OcuSync/Lightbridge, ExpressLRS, Crossfire, analogue 5.8 GHz VTX, Walksnail/HDZero.

Typical "ExpressLRS won't bind" signs in flight, app or OSD:

• Binding mode timeout
• No CRSF in Betaflight
• Model mismatch

• UART invert / half duplex settings

Work safely: battery off when working on ESC/motors; props removed; after repair — VLOS test flight.
