What DJI Dock is

DJI Dock is an automated base station with charging, climate control and remote launch via FlightHub 2. Built for repeatable inspections, security and agricultural missions.

It pairs with Matrice-series aircraft (e.g. Matrice 3D/3TD) — flights follow pre-planned routes rather than manual VLOS piloting.

Which category applies

Automated BVLOS Dock operations without direct visual contact usually fall outside standard Open category. You need Specific category operational authorisation from your NAA.

Prepare a risk assessment, SORA or simplified procedure, insurance and a named accountable person. Pilot qualification is typically A2 or higher, sometimes plus enterprise training.

Licencja i rejestracja

Dock and linked aircraft are registered as UAS with your NAA. The operator must hold a valid certificate.
