How to Pass the EASA A1/A3 Drone Exam in Croatia (2026)

Every recreational drone pilot in Croatia must complete the EASA A1/A3 online training before flying most consumer drones. Croatian Civil Aviation Agency (CCAA) administers registration and the proof-of-completion test; the certificate does not expire once issued. After A1/A3, upgrade to A2 if you fly C2-class drones closer to people — see our A2 guide for Croatia below.

The A1/A3 certificate covers open category subcategories A1 and A3. Your NAA (Croatian Civil Aviation Agency (CCAA)) hosts the free online test.
