What is the difference between A1/A3 and A2?
Both are open-category qualifications with different operating privileges.
A1/A3 is mandatory base theory for open-category operations.
A2 adds privileges to fly nearer to uninvolved people under defined subcategories.
Most commercial and advanced hobby pilots eventually need A2 and/or STS.
